Aki Suzuki
* Born in Tokyo
* Graduated from Kuwazawa design school interior design department
* I was attracted by chintz (calico) when I was a student and decided to specialize dyeing and learn Batik, Yuzen process in the world of kimono which is said to be the most advanced dyeing technique. In 1975, I become independent from there after 3 years training. I produced and designed kimono for about ten years.
* In 1984, I had escaped from Japan to break away from the world of kimono. I become a student again of Florence university in Italy.
* Returned to Japan and established "Aki dyeing studio"I deal with the tapestry, the window display by panels, and the fresco display.
* In 1988, I've started to handle scarves and wears in the wake of gallery Okariya Ginza organized exhibition and Nihonbashi Takashimaya private exhibition.
* In addition, I work to spread dyeing by the lectures such as dyeing class, dyeing design, scarf arrangement, and color coordinates.
